This backpack is actually cuter in person. I ordered my Kinder the Kane Kids and it’s actually a little big. I like it but she could have gotten away with the mini as well. It’s big enough to fit her 12 oz water bottle (2.7 x 3.1 x 6.9). I read a review that said it did fit their child’s bottle, but it fits a normal sized bottle good. It’s sturdy and strong, I would suggest getting the chest strap (which I went back and purchased) because it’s a little big, the straps tend to fall down. Other than that, I love it
We got the rainbow style about a year and a half ago for my 7 year old. She used it daily and I absolutely love how it looks chic and stylish but is functional. Sadly, it started tearing in spots and eventually the zipper fully broke on one side. Im bummed because the warranty is of course only good for one year. For $100 it should be a bit more durable or a better warranty. Still my favorite backpack brand... but pricey for the quality.
Great quality and design. My girl is so ready for school. Size is good for school, is not small, standard fits notebooks and folders
We've purchased two Kane Kids backpacks for my daughter since she started Kindergarten. The backpacks are well made and very sturdy. My daughter's most recent Kane Kids backpack is two years old and still looks great! A recent reviewer complained that the backpack is too small for a Kindergartener or First Grader. My daughter never had issues with carrying her school items in her backpack. She even stuffs her jacket in there before I pick her up from school. She will be entering 3rd grade this Fall and I intend to purchase another Kane Kids for her. She might have to upgrade to a larger one for 4th grade. I will also purchase a Kane Kids for my son entering Kindergarten. We love our State backpacks!
It has enough room for the bare needs, it's also colorful and bright. The pockets are big enough to hold water bottles and sunscreen tubes. I wish the inside was a little bigger for books for school.
