All week, our founders have been at Camp POWER 2015, a non-profit summer camp they started… and where STATE began! Scot and Jacq started Camp POWER through their foundation, Country Roads, to give kids in East New York and Bed Stuy the chance to do something not many of them get to do: just be a kid.
When Scot and Jacq saw their campers getting off the bus with their belongings in garbage bags, they had the idea to start a company that would be able to give back in a way they had dreamed of. Thus, STATE Bags as born!
