STATE: What motivated you to team up with the DO School in Dumbo for the Good to Go program?
BRC: We had previously attempted our own reusable cup program. Unfortunately we were unable to find a working cup lid model. Afterwards were approached by the Do School and they provided us with the solution to our problem and we went from there!
STATE: What are some of the ways you promote recycling and conservation in your stores?
BRC: Currently we provide discounts for people who provide their own cups, we use reusable tins for our coffee beans, we compost our grinds, and we also have the most fuel efficient roaster in the country.
STATE: How can our fellow coffee lovers help to change the coffee-to-go culture in New York City?
BRC: We would love for the Good to Go Cup Program to be picked up and used all around the city, much like the city bike program. We hope to lead the field by example.
